The Resource Centre is staffed full-time by a librarian and library technician. Specialist equipment in the Resource Centre has been proudly funded by the Queensland Government's Gambling Community Benefit Fund. This includes the copier, public computers, and the Fatal Vision demonstration goggles. The Drug & Alcohol Information Centre is part of the DRUG ARM Resource Centre. Lending Services Who can borrow? The public is welcome to borrow from the Centre. You will need to fill out a borrower registration form and present two forms of identification. For all students, except postgraduates, this must be accompanied by an authorization form signed by their parent or tutor/lecturer. Is there a cost? There is no cost for borrowing books and posters. Videos/DVDs are loaned for $5.00 each plus postage and handling. How many resources can I borrow? Three items (books, posters and kits) Two videos or DVDs How long can I borrow for? Resources can be borrowed for up to four weeks Postal service Arrangements can be made for resources to be posted outside the Brisbane metropolitan area. Postage is charged to the borrower. Registration Form Individual borrowers can download a registration form for the Resource Centre from the website. Organisations are also welcom to become a member of the Resource Centre but should use a separate Organisation Registration Form. |
