Your support will help us to provide: Resources The DRUG ARM Resource Centre is a public lending library providing information and resources on a wide range of issues surrounding drug and alcohol use. Education DRUG ARM believes that drug education should be available to children from an early age, and as such, has developed a range of resources to help young people deal with the issues relating to substance use and abuse, peer pressure and relationships. Awareness From displays at shows, shopping centres, tertiary institutions and libraries, to staff visits to parent and teacher groups, community groups and churches, DRUG ARM works continuously to inform the community of the problems and risks associated with alcohol and other drug use. Support Services DRUG ARM has a range of services to assist individuals and families. DRUG ARM also provides a 1300 656 800 telephone support line and counselling as well as support groups for clients. The HART Program provides home support and early interventions for individuals and families experiencing difficulties with drugs. DRUG ARM Street Outreach Service These are mobile patrols crewed by dedicated volunteers who provide support, information, referrals and transport. This outreach program is engaged in working with young people and others who are at risk of becoming homeless and or dependent on alcohol or other drugs.
